Amy Moore Bio

Amy Moore began riding Hunter/Jumper at age 7 at her mother’s horse farm in Michigan. As a junior rider, some highlights included qualifying and competing at nationals in Harrisburg. As well as lots of success on the MHJA in hunters, jumpers, and equitation.

Amy moved to Texas the summer of 2007 to pursue her own professional career. Over the next six years, Amy built up her business and had great success on the NTHJC circuit. This included many year-end Championships in the Pre Green, Low Hunter, and Derbies. Her students also excelled received Championships and Medal wins. 

After the close of the show, 2012 season Amy chose to further her education and joined McQuay Stables.  Working for Colleen McQuay she gained invaluable experience. 

In 2015 Amy joined Showtime farm. She had the privilege of showing extremely talented horses all over the country.  Over her two years there she gained great experience and knowledge working for Grand Prix rider Colleen Acosta. 

Amy now resides at Dallas equestrian center and takes great pride in teaching her students to be the best riders they can be. Focusing on detail, understanding the mechanics of riding, and encouraging them to set and achieve goals.
